Five guns, 14 rounds of ammunition surrendered in Trans Mara

Five firearms and 14 rounds of ammunition have been voluntarily surrendered in Trans Mara, Narok County as the Government intensifies efforts to restore peace following the recent clashes that left four people dead and displaced 1,800 others. Interior cabinet secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has also announced a 7 day grace period for civilians in possession of firearms in the area to surrender them before forceful dispossession is enforced.
