Parents of students set to join senior secondary schools across the country continue to throng various schools of their choice in an attempt to place their children in preferred institutions, amid ongoing challenges with the placement system. In Kiambu County, parents spent the better part of the day camped at the main gates of Maryhill and Mang’u Boys’ High School, hoping to secure chances for their children.
