Nurses threaten to go on strike due to unfulfilled pledges by govt

The Kenya National Union of Nurses and Midwives has expressed dissatisfaction over the failure by various government employers and stakeholders to honour their obligations despite repeated engagements. The union now says that its members are being subjected to blatant discrimination, neglected agreements and inequitable treatment. They have vowed to engage their members to plan a countrywide industrial action if their concerns are not addressed within 7 days.
