ODM factions split as Oburu and Sifuna-Orengo hold separate meetings

The rift within the ODM party continued to widen with the warring factions staging parallel meetings and going for each other's jugular. In Kisii County, oburu led leadership said they are ready for a national delegates conference, as the faction led by party secretary general Edwin Sifuna and Siaya Governor James Orengo distanced themselves from the planned coalition talks with UDA. Odm party leader Dr. Oburu Oginga reiterated that the Orange Party will not expel rebels in the party.
