Teargas lobbed in a church attended by Gachagua in Othaya

Sunday service at the ACK Witima parish in Othaya has been disrupted, after unidentified individuals lobbed teargas and fired live ammunition inside the church's compound where former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua had arrived for Sunday service. The service had just began when the individuals stormed the compound, firing in the air and lobbying the canisters Inside the church, an attack that lasted close to 15 minutes. As a result, the ex- dp's main vehicle got torched, as those belonging to leaders in his entrouge got vandalized. The assailants also made a second attempt at the accessing the church.
