Embu Women Warn of Naked Protest if Gachagua is Arrested

Tension is building ahead of the arrival of Democracy for Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua, as women in Embu County have threatened to stage a naked protest if the government arrests him at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). The women accused the state of political persecution, claiming the move is retaliation for Gachagua’s criticism of President William Ruto’s administration.
