27 Kenyans rescued from Russia-Ukraine conflict zone - Mudavadi

Foreign Affairs CS Musalia Mudavadi has said the government rescued and repatriated 27 Kenyans from the Russia-Ukraine conflict zone after they were lured with false job promises. He said diplomatic interventions by Kenya’s mission in Moscow secured their safe return and warned of rising cases of exploitation and trafficking. Mudavadi announced plans to visit Moscow to engage directly with the Russian government, saying the talks will address the circumstances that drew Kenyans into the conflict and help prevent further exposure to danger.
