Kenyan police officer dies in Haiti MMS road accident

The National Police Service (NPS) has confirmed the death of a Kenyan officer serving under the Kenyan-led Multinational Security Support Mission (MSS) in Haiti after a tragic road accident on Sunday, August 31, 2025. The incident occurred along the Kenscoff–Pétion-Ville road in the Pèlerin 9 area at around 5:00 p.m. Haitian time. The accident claimed the lives of the Kenyan officer and two civilians, while eight other MSS officers sustained injuries, three of them critically.
