Africa urged to deepen capital markets to unlock investment

African policymakers and capital markets players have been urged to deepen and integrate their capital markets to bridge the gap between the continent’s investment opportunities and available financing. Speaking at the opening of Africa Capital Week, capital market players and government officials argued that Africa must strengthen the link between capital markets and government priorities to ensure capital flows to projects where it can have the greatest impact.
