Armed gang robs M-Pesa outlet, shoots businessman in Ruiru

A daring Friday morning robbery has left a local businessman fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital. Two armed and masked men stormed a busy M-Pesa and gas outlet at the Favour Business Center in Membley, Ruiru, making off with more than 600,000 shillings in less than five minutes. And as the gang fled towards the Northern Bypass, they opened fire, critically injuring the shop owner.
