The Athletics Kenya masters team returned home jubilantly after stopping the show in Daegu South Korea for the 2026 world masters athletics championships. With an insatiable appetite for success in old age, the veteran athletes concluded their global campaign with an impressive haul of 27 medals, 15 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze. The stellar display in the Asian country showed a massive improvement from the 2024 edition in Gothenburg, Sweden, where Kenya bagged 24 medals that included 7 golds.
