Biosafety Authority moves to fast-track GMO approvals to boost food security

The National Biosafety Authority says it is working to make GMO approval faster and harmonise regulatory processes to support food security in the country. The Authority says it has approved 97 GMO-related applications and projects since its establishment. Denis Otieno reports.
