Bishop Kodia calls for urgent nyanza political leaders’ conclave

Bondo ACK Bishop David Kodia has called for an immediate conclave of political leaders from Nyanza to address the rise in incidences related to political intolerance in the recent weeks. In a media address earlier today, bishop Kodia accused the leaders of orchestrating violence against one another, polarizing the region and returning to outdated styles of politics. Citing the destruction on Saturday after the attack on governor James Orengo in Migori, the bishop said that the trends in violence might lead to voter apathy in the general elections calling for an immediate resolution.
