In her ruling, Machakos High Court Judge Noel Inziani insisted that no extra time will be given after the lapse of the seven days. Justice Inziani pointed out that what the Director of the Anti-Abduction Unit had told the court was not enough evidence for the court to confirm that businessman Jimmy Mutava is in police custody. Mutava was abducted in Mlolongo on 27th July 2026. The case will be mentioned on 3rd September 2026.
