CS Murkomen issues 7-days ultimatum for surrender of guns

Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has extended the dusk-to-dawn curfew to more places in the troubled transmara region. The cs has also given seven days for those with illegal guns in the Barikoi area to surrender them to officers carrying out a security operation in the area. The CS’s orders come as local politicians, an activist, and two other suspects who were arrested were arraigned and released on bond over the skirmishes.
