Families call for criminalisation of enforced disappearances

Families of victims of enforced disappearances, together with human rights organisations, are calling for the criminalisation of enforced disappearances. Speaking in Mombasa, Police Spokesperson Michael Muchiri denied allegations that police were holding the missing persons, saying a specialised unit had been formed to investigate the cases.
