Fire destroys over 50 high-end cars in Kilimani

Car owners and mechanics in Kilimani Estate are counting losses running into millions of shillings after a fire broke out at three garages along Muringa Road, destroying more than 50 high-end vehicles. Witnesses say the fire started at around 11:30 p.m. in one of the garages before spreading to the other two. Firefighters from the Nairobi County Government, who arrived an hour later, took five hours to bring the blaze under control. Gatete Njoroge reports.
