Four siblings drown while fetching water at a quarry site in Kisumu

A family in Kisumu is mourning the tragic loss of four siblings who drowned at a quarry site on Sunday. The bodies of the four aged between 8 and 15 years have since being retrieved and taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue. Irate residents are now demanding justice accusing the contractor of failing to back-fill the quarry which has turned out to be a death trap.
