Gachagua accuses Ruto of plot to split Mount Kenya vote

Democracy for the Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua has accused President William Ruto of orchestrating a plot to divide the Mount Kenya vote and force a run-off in the 2027 General Election. The former deputy president, who toured Nyeri and Kirinyaga counties on Sunday, warned retired President Uhuru Kenyatta against working with President Ruto, saying Ruto had destabilized his own administration.
