Gachagua kicks off public engagements in Washington

DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua is in spokane, Washington State for a week-long engagement with Kenyans living in the area. Gachagua who left Kenya 10 days ago for a two-month tour of the United States is expected to hold discussions and explore ways on how kenyans in the diaspora can contribute to the development and future of Kenya. Noting that diaspora remittances have surpassed tea and coffee as Kenya's largest source of foreign exchange, the DCP leader says there is need for better management of resources in the country. In his first engagement, Gachagua was hosted by community elders over a meal while his wife Reverend Dorcas Rigathi was hosted by Kenyan women for an informal dinner.
