Gachagua rules out political alliance with Ruto

DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua has ruled out working together politically with President William Ruto, saying his ideals are at odds with those held by President Ruto. Speaking when he met a delegation from Isiolo County at his Wamunyoro home, Gachagua maintained President Ruto had run down the country and did not deserve another term in office. Gachagua's response comes barely hours after President Ruto, in a TV interview, also dismissed Gachagua as a tribal leader.
