Garissa Airport roars back to life after undergoing a year-long renovation and modernisation works

After more than a year of undergoing major transformations, Garissa Airport is now back to full operations with its first clients being delegates attending the 4th Devolution Sensitization Week hosted by the Garissa County Government. Complete with an ultra-modern terminal, a 1.2km runway and a VIP lounge, the airport is expected to boost business, ease transport and open up the region for tourism. The magnificent outlook of the Airport gives it a national face that attracts visitors from all parts of the country.
