IEBC ordered to review 2027 election tender documents

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, IEBC, has suffered a setback in its preparations for the 2027 General Election after the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board ordered it to review and re-advertise its tender for the supply of Integrated Election Management technology. In a separate ruling, the board also directed IEBC to clarify and amend its tender documents for the supply and delivery of ballot papers for the 2027 General Election. The board cited inconsistencies, uncertainties and a lack of clear objectives in both tender documents.
