While unveiling its violence-free election roadmap, the commission said it will strictly enforce election laws to ensure leaders who fuel division and polarise the country do not make it onto the ballot. The National Police Service has also pledged to tighten surveillance on politicians linked to violence as part of efforts to safeguard the integrity of the 2027 polls.
