Interfaith council condemns hostility against foreigners

The Inter-Religious Council of Kenya has condemned the hostility directed at foreigners, particularly Burundian nationals. The council has called on Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen to ensure the safety and protection of foreigners in the country. It has also urged foreigners affected by the directive to heed the government’s call to regularise their stay and businesses within the stipulated period.
