KenGen profit dips despite higher revenues and operating profits

KenGen has reported a slight drop in net profit for the year ended June 2026, despite higher revenues and operating profits. The electricity generator says the decline was mainly due to lower finance income, as cash was deployed into investments to expand generation capacity. Denis Otieno has the details.
