Kenya Kwanza allies challenge opposition to face Ruto at the ballot

Leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza administration have warned their opposition counterparts against continued attacks on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), challenging them to instead focus on facing President William Ruto at the ballot next year. Speaking as they led empowerment events in Trans Nzoia and Narok counties, the leaders accused the opposition of harbouring bitterness towards the electoral body, which they claimed stems from business interests with the commission that have failed to materialise. Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has called on the IEBC to insulate itself from what he termed as noise from the opposition.
