Kenya Kwanza leaders call for ban on sugar imports

Kenya Kwanza leaders, led by President William Ruto's aide Farouk Kibet, have lashed out at sugar industry cartels allegedly exploiting the Kenyan market. Speaking in Vihiga County during a women's empowerment initiative, the leaders called for a ban on sugar imports to protect the local sugar industry from cheap imported sugar.
