Kenya police to unveil new uniform next week

General duty officers under the Kenya Police Service will don a new-look uniform from next week. Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja says the National Police Service will implement recommendations from a 2023 public participation exercise, during which police officers rejected the current navy-blue uniform. President William Ruto is expected to unveil the new uniform during a passing-out parade for police recruits on Friday. Kamau Mwangi reports.
