Kenya turns to milk imports as shortage bites

Kenya is NOW turning to THE neighboring Uganda, FOR THE importing OF milk, to cover the growing shortfall that has persisted for weeks. Speaking at a family day hosted by the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru, Trade CS Lee Kinyanjui noted that Kenya’s dairy sector cannot currently meet the demand. He urged renewed efforts to boost domestic output and reduce reliance on imports.
