Kindiki presides over Kenya Prisons Service cadets passing-out parade

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki presided over the 27th passing-out parade of Kenya Prisons Service officer cadets. Kindiki has called on the officers who went through 13 months of rigorous training to serve with integrity. Before the passing-out, he also officially commissioned the Wanini Kireri Magereza Level IV Hospital and other development projects, including newly constructed housing units for prison officers. The 150-bed hospital is named after the late Wanini Kireri, the first female commandant of the Kenya Prisons Service.
