Kisii church members demand Sh7 million refund

Members of Gospel Embassy Chapel in Kisii are demanding a refund of Sh7 million they allegedly paid to a politician for a parcel of land where they planned to build a mega church in Kisii town. The aggrieved faithful claim their efforts to recover the money through the criminal justice system have been frustrated after the suspect was allegedly released following intervention by a senior government official. They are now appealing to President William Ruto to intervene and help recover the money.
