Maendeleo ya Wanawake extends nomination period

Maendeleo ya Wanawake Organisation has extended the nomination period for women seeking elective positions by four months. The organisation’s chairperson, Anne Wambaa, says the extension will give more women, particularly those at the grassroots, an opportunity to apply for various branch and national positions. Wambaa has encouraged more women to put their names forward and compete for the elective posts.
