MPs demand list of institutions owing KUCCPS Sh500 million

Members of Parliament have directed the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) to provide a list of institutions of higher learning that owe the agency more than Sh500 million. Appearing before the National Assembly Education Committee, KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer Mercy Wahome said several universities across the country have failed to remit the Sh1,500 placement fee charged for every student successfully placed in an institution.
