Murder suspects claim they were framed over Dr. Mutiso’s death

Murder suspects Rose Mbithe and her son, Chris Mulwa, have claimed they are being framed in the murder of Dr. Victoria Mutiso. The two told a Milimani Magistrate’s Court that they believe they are being targeted by individuals allegedly seeking to acquire their property, including a disputed 20-acre parcel of land in Mlolongo valued at 1.5 billion shillings. Mbithe and Mulwa also expressed frustration over what they described as restrictions on their bank accounts and being denied an opportunity to tell their side of the story. Rose told the court that the late Dr. Mutiso worked in her office before she divorced her former husband, Professor David Ndetei, who later married the late psychiatrist. Gatete Njoroge reports.
