Ndindi Nyoro calls for Murkomen’s resignation over rally violence

People’s Party of Kenya leader Ndindi Nyoro has called on Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen to resign. Speaking during public rallies in Mathioya and Kangema constituencies in Murang’a, Nyoro condemned the rising violence at political rallies, saying no one has been apprehended despite government promises to take action against the perpetrators and alleged financiers. Nyoro also called on leaders to respect retired President Uhuru Kenyatta, saying he has the right to express his opinion as a Kenyan citizen. He further said the opposition will remain united to ensure they clinch victory in the 2027 General Election.
