Ndindi Nyoro piles pressure on Ruto over public spending

People’s Party of Kenya leader and Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro is piling pressure on President William Ruto over the use of public funds, demanding greater accountability in government expenditure. Nyoro has also called for the protection of political meetings across the country, amid concerns over what he terms increasing cases of political violence during rallies. Speaking at the party headquarters in Nairobi, Nyoro accused the government of prioritising excessive expenditure at the expense of essential services, as he questioned the legacy President Ruto intends to leave behind.
