Nyanza clergy call for sobriety as early campaigns intensify

A section of the clergy drawn from Nyanza have called for sobriety from the political class, whom they accused of engaging in early campaigns at the expense of service delivery. Speaking at a press conference in Kisumu, the clerics under the Nyanza Clergy Fellowship raised their concern over what they said is the high-voltage politics in the country, which have morphed into violent clashes. The caucus leader Winnie Owiti further accused the leaders of failing to honor the summons by NCIC.
