Opposition leaders condemn alleged targeting of MP Mukunji over Embu chaos

The united opposition, led by Kalonzo Musyoka, has faulted the government over heavy security at All Saints Cathedral, where the Linda Mwananchi team is worshipping, accusing the state of using security agencies to intimidate and silence the opposition ahead of next year's election. Speaking in Hola, Tana River, the opposition has also defended Manyatta MP John Mukunji over claims he was behind the chaos witnessed at Deputy President Kithure Kindiki’s rally in Embu, accusing the government of allowing political goonism and chaos to thrive.
