Orengo, Linda Mwananchi leaders attacked in Migori

Siaya Governor James Orengo and a small group of Linda Mwananchi leaders were on Saturday attacked in Migori after a teargas canister was discharged in the middle of a roadside address. Running battles followed as the leaders condemned what they termed another attempt on their lives, vowing not to back down. The incident comes as United Opposition leaders, among them Wiper Patriotic Front Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, toured Taita Taveta, where they accused the government of supervising land injustices and rallied locals to vote out President William Ruto in next year’s General Election.
