In another disappointing outing in the CECAFA finals, Kenya Police Bullets lost 1-0 to Kawempe Muslim Ladies in a tense final in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Bullets have now lost in the final for the second time in three seasons.
Kawempe were the better team from the start but failed to break down the Bullets in regulation time.
Kawempe scored the all-important goal in the first half of extra time, taking advantage of a mix-up in the Police defence.
The usually effective Bullets attack was blunt in the game, creating no clear chances.
Kawempe Muslim will now represent the CECAFA region in the Women's CAF Champions League.
