Rising Stars step up preparations for CECAFA U-20 tournament

Kenya’s Under-20 national team, the Rising Stars, have stepped up preparations ahead of the CECAFA tournament to be hosted in Tanzania later this month, where they will battle for a place at the 2027 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations. Run VCR... The Gilbert Selebwa-led team will begin its campaign against Burundi on September 17 before taking on South Sudan two days later. Both matches will be played at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Kenya will be looking to return to the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in 2027, having featured in last year’s edition held in Egypt.
