Rival groups clashed in Garissa as a rally by United Opposition leaders descended into chaos. Youths pelted the leaders’ vehicles and supporters with stones before the group made its way into Garissa town. Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka condemned the incident, accusing Health CS Aden Duale of being behind the chaos. The clashes came as People’s Party leader Ndindi Nyoro and Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Dr. Fred Matiang’i called for unity within the opposition.
