Ruto accuses opposition of ethnic profiling ahead of 2027

President William Ruto has sustained his attack on the united opposition, accusing its leaders of using ethnic profiling in perceived opposition strongholds to intimidate voters ahead of the 2027 General Election. Speaking in Ngong and Ongata Rongai in Kajiado County on the final day of his three-day tour, the Head of State defended the UDA-ODM broad-based pre-election pact, saying the arrangement is designed to promote national unity and ensure equitable sharing of national resources.
