Ruto vows to reclaim land held by foreign firms

President William Ruto has announced plans to reclaim large tracts of land held by foreign companies in Kajiado and return them to local residents. Ruto dismissed opposition criticism over the expulsion of Tata Chemicals from Kajiado, saying he will not reverse the decision. He accused his critics of defending exploitative deals at the expense of Kenyans. The President spoke during the second day of his tour of Kajiado.
