Schools reopen amid capitation funding row

Learners resume school tomorrow for the third term, but the funding dilemma persists. Although President William Ruto announced that the government had already released 18 billion shillings in school capitation for the term, education stakeholders dispute the claim, saying school heads are yet to receive the funds.
