Smart farm proves agriculture can thrive in arid Turkana

Turkana County is better known for its harsh climate than farming. But in a small village on the outskirts of Lodwar town, one model farm is challenging that perception by proving that agriculture can thrive even in arid conditions. Through mixed farming, the initiative is demonstrating how innovation and efficient use of resources can help improve food production and livelihoods.
