Stakeholders call for wider use of organic soil solutions

Agriculture stakeholders are calling for wider use of organic-based solutions to restore soil health and reduce farmers’ reliance on conventional inputs. The call came during a forum by agricultural firm Agrimedic East Africa in Nairobi, aimed at improving soil fertility and farm productivity. Stakeholders say wider adoption will depend on farmer education, affordable access and clear evidence that the products can improve yields and restore degraded soils.
