Former Cabinet Minister and Dari Limited Chairman Raphael Tuju has warned potential buyers interested in Dari properties to exercise caution, saying ownership of the properties is still being contested in court. Tuju denounced the alleged auction of 27 acres of prime land in Karen and another seven acres along Ngong Road, describing the auction as a sham and citing outdated property valuations. He claims Dari Limited deposited 50 million shillings as directed by the court to prevent interference with the properties pending the hearing and determination of the case. Tuju, who stormed the auctioneers’ offices in Westlands, Nairobi, urged potential buyers to ignore the auction to avoid being embroiled in a legal battle. There are currently three active court cases concerning the disputed properties.
