Tusker FC made the perfect start after taking the lead in the 11th minute through new Nigerian striker Victor Mbaoma. Mbaoma then doubled the lead, heading home from close range to give Tusker a 2-0 advantage at half-time. In the second half, Samany Al-Sawi pulled a goal back for Medani in the 57th minute.
