Tusker snatch 2-2 draw against Al Ahli Wad Medani

Mozzart Cup champions Tusker FC secured a crucial 2-2 draw away to Sudanese side Al Ahli Wad Medani in the first preliminary tie of the CAF Confederation Cup in Kigali, Rwanda. Medani are using Kigali Stadium as their home venue for the continental competition. Tusker FC made the perfect start after taking the lead in the 11th minute through new Nigerian striker Victor Mbaoma. Mbaoma then doubled the lead, heading home from close range to give Tusker a 2-0 advantage at half-time. In the second half, Samany Al-Sawi pulled a goal back for Medani in the 57th minute. Tusker soaked up pressure from the home side before finally cracking in stoppage time, when Medani were awarded a penalty that was converted by Al-Sawi to secure a 2-2 draw.
